Get Out and Hike or Bike the Arroyo

Hiking is a terrific exercise for both physical and mental health. Physically it is great for cardio, lowering blood pressure, increasing bone density and weight management. Mentally is reduces stress and anxiety, that is why the streets in my neighborhood where filled with walkers during 2020, trying to reduce the anxiety brought on by the Covid Pandemic! We have so many fabulous places to hike or bike in NELA and the San Gabriel Mountains, which is one of the wonderful things about living along the Arroyo.

Below are just a few of my favorite places to hike. There are trails for both beginners and experienced hikers. There will never be a better time than now, to get your phyiscal and mental health in top notch shape! Get out and enjoy the beauty of the Arroyo.
